This is how the Republicans can win in 2010.  They can easily take back Congress.  Read my blog on this issue in the following location.  Even if health care passes tonight, if the Republican focus on running against Pelosi's picture and what she stands for, San Francisco, they Nation will support them in numbers that exceed (in percent) the success in Virginia gubnetorial race.

It is now official.  The President of the United States Barak Hussein Obama has come out of the religious closet and decided out himself as an official Muslim by growing a mustache for his speech to the Muslim Nation.  He has now officially acknowledged and signaled to the Arab Muslims that he is one of them. 
One has to understand how important male facial hair is to Arab Muslims in legitimizing ones' position as a male in control.  Obama not only is selling his own Nation out; his willingness to grovel to any request of a Muslim, announces to the world that the United States accepts its demmi status.
What is important to recognize is that this mustache was grown specifically for his speech to the Muslim Nation.  It is the clearest symbol that I am one of you and NOT one of them (the other Americans, the Christians, that you know))

Tomorrow, Thursday, President Obama is presenting his speech to the Muslim Nation.  This is how his handlers and he, himself, have characterized it.  In addition, during his interview in London, Obama described the United States of American as an Islamic Nation.  What are the connections between these two representations?

As far as the second observation is concerned, it is an empirical fact that the United States is not a Muslim nation.  Muslims make up only about 2% of the American population and historically their contribution has been negligible.  By numbers and consequence America has nothing to do with Islam.  Can Obama be so ignorant as to make this kind of factual mistake, possible; but let's consider alternative explanations. 

On the other hand, America is spiritually Muslim to the Islamic religion that views all of the world as the ownership of the one true religion, Islam.  Within this context Obama is correctly describing American as would any believing Muslim.  To a Muslim there is no State as such.  The political state that is recognized within the context of American political ideas.  These are ideas that came out of the Christian Anglo-Saxon social contract theory of the state.  In Islam there is not political state or nation, only the Nation of Islam, with the Arabs as the top dogs (no pun intended).

For Muslims, Islam's 1.2 billion adherents are one nation, united.  That is the only organization that is recognized as existing physically on earth as a nationality.  The State in traditional liberalism is meaningless.  To Obama the American nation does not exist and holds no loyalty.  For him there is an American political state; but not a nation.  (This by the way is true for his perception of the European states and other political liberal state organizations around the world, including Israel.)  As a Muslim, it makes sense then for Obama to emphasize the notion of America as an Islamic nation.  For him American as a unique nation is a meaningless construction; only as a political state, which is obviously changeable and therefore has no permanence.

This is consistant with his speech to the Islamic Nation.  The President will ramble in his usual way for 45 minutes surrounded by the most anti-Jewish and anti-Christians symbolism and individuals alive in the today's world.  All people of the Judeo-Christian tradition should be disgusted by this spectacle.  The only new fact will be the West's recognition that Islamic Nationhood trumps Western Statehood.  This is already occurring all over Europe and in Detroit, Michigan with the demand that Muslims have self-governance under Sharia law.  This places Muslims in a situation similar to the status of Native-Americans, as a separate nation within the American State.

The most important fact to emerge from his speech will be a recognition of Islam as a total nation.  It is America's recognition that Islam transcends the State and all of its adherents are united as one nation.  Their sole loyalty and existence determined and directed by Islam.  This is why neither Obama, nor anyone else, would think of making a speech to the "Christian Nation."  It would incomprehensible and meaningless.  Christianity is not a nation; it is a religion.

Islam to Obama is a nation and it is his nation.  Throughout his life this has been the one consistent truth.  It is now being made public.  Sadly very little of the main stream media recognize it for what it is; because they do not understand the distinction between a nation and a state; but, Obama does.  The first hint for the American Nation's citizens should have been when he anounced during the campaign the he will give an address to the Muslims as a total nation.

After all the election cover-up, President Obama is now returning to his roots, his Muslim roots.  He will be speaking tomorrow at the Islam's most sacred locations in the world.  During this speedh, he will be showing respect, reverence, and belief in the symbols of Islam.  These symbols, with his speeches, will be located in Saudi Arabia and in Cairo, Egypt.
Unlike his public talks in the United States, the Islamic symbols will not be covered over, they actually will be front and center,  In the United States, whenever Obama speaks, he insists that all Christian symbols be covered over or removed.  Why does anyone think of President Obama as being Christian?  He cannot even claim that he was born one.  His so called "conversion" implemented by Reverent Wright is a well known joke.  Remember, this is the so called pastor who reveres and follows the head of the Nation of Islam.  That is his hero.  It is also remains Obama's.  Christianity is solely a convenience.  Do not misunderstand that.
Obama is about to give the speech which will return him to his Muslim roots and make him an official spokesperson for Islam in the United States, if not the globe.  That is his goal.
It should be kept in mind, President Obama has never, and I repeat never, given such a speech to Christians or Jews.  The only explanation is that he has never considered himself part of the Judeo-Christian tradition; only part of the Muslim one.
What is truely sad and a breach of all considerations of classical liberalism and human rights, is that he will be speaking positively about the most oppresive people in the world, the Muslims, and in the most oppresive countries in the world, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Obama sincerely has no sense of shame.
In Egypt, he will be speaking at the institution that has been the largest promoter of radical anti-Semitism in the world.  Their philosophy is that the only good Jew is a dead Jew.  The Christians are not far behind.  These are the people, the Muslims, who have been murdering Coptic Christians for centuries.
Obama is now showing who he truly is: A Jewish and Christian hater.   This has been his goal and in his speech tomorrow he will show it in its full color.

Today, the American Catholic Church has sold its theological soul on the platform of popular opinion and Hollywood popularity. Today, the best know American anti-life politician, President Barak Obama, will be the honored guest and speaker at the commencement ceremony of Catholicism’s most revered and renowned school of higher education in the United States, the University of Notre Dame. To put this in perspective, Notre Dame has by far greater influence on American public opinion and therefore the lay Catholic thought than the Washington D.C. based Catholic University of America. It is true a large part of that did not come from theology. Knut Rockne was at Notre Dame (Ronald Reagan was not; but the “Gipper” was.)
This is not a question of free speech or academic freedom. There is no state agency or law preventing President Obama from speaking. In addition, I am willing to bet that over 90% of the faculty at Notre Dame is anti-life, which is consistent with national academic figures. Consequently, Notre Dame’s students have been exposed, ironically, primarily to predominantly, if not solely, the anti-life, i.e. anti-Catholic, position.
At a time, this week to be exact, when the American national polls are showing for the first time that more of America’s citizens are pro-life than anti-life, this godless university decides to legitimize the position of proclaiming an abortion free for all by honoring its number one proponent in the world, Obama.
It is not just that President Obama is for abortion. He is the most anti-life politician on the planet. He has voted and argued for abortion positions that most American politicians have rejected as far too extreme. On this issue, he is even more radical than Mrs. Clinton and Planned Parenthood. In fact, Obama’s position is definitely more radical than current abortion law is in any European country.
In this Country, all that may very well be the Obama’s right to believe. There is no law against being wrong and/or immoral. But, there is no requirement that a Catholic university honors such a person and legitimizes this radical position. What the University of Notre Dame is legitimizing is that this is one alternative acceptable position among others. And further, we do not have a problem with people who hold this anti-Catholic theological position.
Irrespective of what comes out of Obama’s teleprompter today, Notre Dame has done irreversible damage to American Catholicism’s legitimacy when it argues for its cogent theology. The Pope, by not criticizing the University, has placed politics above belief. Although in this world that is understandable; it will not win any believers.
The fact is that one cannot be anti-life and still claim to be a Catholic. All that one is claiming when they say this is that I was baptized a Catholic and that is it. This might be true but meaningless as far as religion and God is concerned from a Catholic perspective.
Frankly, I am not Catholic. Yet, I am furious at the Catholic Church for speaking and acting out of two sides of its mouth. One is theological pro-life, which it tends to feed a lot and stand on in Africa and other “third” world countries. The other is political correctness to the point of making its beliefs vacuous. In the process it is not just remaining neutral, it is doing severe damage to the pro-life believers and is defending the killing of created souls. (By the way, I do realize that there is also a controversy about stem cell research but that is morally so far removed when you are confirming the legitimacy of an individual who supports the literal killing of “mistaken” aborted fetuses.)
With this speech, the University of Notre Dame and the Catholic Church forever end their place as the pontificators of the moral high ground. It is ironic, just as people were beginning to listen, the academic have succeeded to undermine the most powerful church in the world.

The United States currently remains one of the few countries around the world to have not taken any serious action on its borders against the Mexican Flu, nor limited movement between itself and Mexico.   As I have detailed earlier, even countries and entities not usually friendly to the United States, such as China, Cuba, and the EU have banned or modified travel and movement to and from Mexico.  On these countries' part this was not an anti-Mexican move, only a legitimate response to secure the safety of their citizens from a killer flu that originated in Mexico.
Thank G-d, that in the United States we have "only" had the death of a young American citizen, age 30, whose only "medical condition" was having a baby.
The Obama administration is claiming that there was not a reason to close the border because nothing really bad happened.  That is to say, the idea of a pandemic was over-blown and utilized solely as a scare tactic.  An even more outlandish claim was that the requirement to close the border with Mexico, or ban movement between the U.S. and Mexico, was driven by bigotry and anti-Mexican sentiment.
This shows the ignorance and anti-Constitutionalism of the Obama administration.  The American governments main and primary value, i.e. raison d'etre, is the security and health of the CITIZENS of the United States.
There is absolutely no way to know what would have happened with this flu if the States and local governments had not take  things into their own hands.  Across the country, schools were closed and events canceled or significantly modified.  Frankly, most American citizens took the advise of the Vice President and stayed away from crowded public places.   Ironically, the one time VP Biden spoke accurately and President Obama gets upset.
Since all these measures were taken by American citizens and by other countries with responsible governments, the Obama administration can only claim a lack of guts and courage to act.  As of now, they have only gotten lucky not responsive.  The Obama administration has shown its callousness and disregard for the public safety.  (And by they way, how far they are willing to go not to offend a voting group.) 
One cannot say: "see the world and the States did all those things as a response to the Mexican flu; but, they were unnecessary because there were not a lot of deaths."  We do not know if the mildness of the American experience was due to a great degree because citizens and the States acted responsibly.  If the American States and other countries, such as China and Cuba,  would have acted like Obama than no one knows the consequences would have been from the Mexican flu.
What we do know is that the World Health Organization (WHO) is now projecting that close to 2 billion people around the world will come down with the Mexican flu.  The WHO is also fearful of what will occur when the second round of flu in the southern hemisphere attacks in the next two months, when it will be winter there.  It is also concerned about the third round, which will be in North America next winter.
Finally, neither the WHO, the CDC, nor any other government or scientist know as of yet why the strain of Mexican flu has been so deadly to the healthy.  Even in the United States, the individuals who predominantly fell ill were the young and healthy.
It is quite likely that what helped ease the effect of the Mexican flu in the United States was a federal form of government that allowed the States to act even when the Federal government was paralyzed.

The Republican Party is not going to miss Arlene Spector; but it is missing a great opportunity to show that it is the GOP who care about the safety of Americans.  The Democratic Party does not and President Obama does not.  They cannot because if they showed real action early, they risk loosing a significant voting block: illegal Mexicans.  The danger to America is embodied in the Mexican flu and the Republicans are missing an opportunity to show that American's safety matters above all else; and to truely act on it.

The American border and air-coridor with Mexico must be sealed until everything has passed and completely cleared and America is safe again.  Even the Cuba of the Castro brothers has prohibited all travel to Mexico, as have most other countries.  The major exception is the U.S. government because the Demcorats are more concerned about the Mexican vote than they are about a few Americans dying. 

The Republicans are currently showing that they are neutered and cannot act.  Why is the border still open?  Why are flights still going back and forth to Mexico?  Are the Republicans also afraid of the loss of Mexican voters?  John McCain found out that the Mexicans in the United States will never vote for a white Republican.  They lied to him and used him and when he needed their vote, after supporting them in very way possible, most Mexican voters went with Obama.

If Obama acts before the Republicans demand action; it is going to be a long night in the out-house for the GOP.  If Obama acts after the GOP has called for closure than he will look like he is indecisive and only responding to the correct action to protect Americans because the Republicans demanded it.

Given the growth of the Mexican flu in the United States, the GOP better act fast or their opportunity will be gone.

Living in the area of Al Capone and Chicago mafia style politics, it is great to see Chicago politics is now alive and well in Washington D.C. It was brought there with full force with the Obama administration’s arrival. It is beyond reason to believe that any of the President’s advisers, including the President, did not know that they were putting forth tax cheats and frauds into critical political leadership positions in the National government. In Chicago politics, it just does not matter.
Let us see who we have now: Bill Richardson as Secretary of Commerce dropped out before being indicted on a pay-to-play scheme, the Secretary of the Treasury had never heard of self-employment taxes before his nomination, the nomination to be the Federal Government Performance Czar has her house under IRS lien for none payment of employment taxes, and last (but not least) former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle forgot to pay over $120,000 in back taxes until his nomination. It stretches credibility to believe that Obama was not aware of all these and just does not care. (Is this like sitting in a church for 20 years and never hearing what the pastor is saying?) Only in Chicago politics are the last two statements valid.
Tax-dodgers or tax-evaders are the classification of this general category of criminals. They are all frauds. This is the exact practice that sent one of our famous Chicagoans to jail: Al Capone. The American Secretary of the Treasury is a well-practiced tax fraud, another Capon. Barak Obama’s nomination to chief czar for Federal government performance efficiency is renowned tax dodger with a tax lien against her Washington D.C. million-dollar home. (This is a woman, who worked as a high priced consultant, with a professional husband, a professor, and two nannies and a personal helper in her private employment. In addition to the support she was getting from her employer, the international consulting firm of McKinsey and Company.) Why is she not in jail instead of being considered by the Chicago Obama mafia for an Administration position? Finally we have the biggest (but I am sure not final) kick-in-the pants to the American public by the Obama Chicago approach with his nomination of former Senate Majority leader Tom Daschle to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Daschle most important qualification was his early support for Obama and the fact that they have become “friends.” In the Chicago Rizo-Obama tradition, it did not make any difference that Daschle was known for making over $5 million from the very health groups that he was “suppose” to regulate in his new position. (What he and Obama where about to do was ask the American people to bend over and take it again.) However, as Obama knows very well, the Chicago way is to never let how you made your money get in the way of being appointed to a lucrative political positions. Just do not be caught admitting it.
The Obama-Daschle combo finally crossed the line by defending, for the third time, the right of Obama Chicago (we are now in Washington) mafia to pay taxes only of their choosing.
If one is “caught” then in Chicago we always describe it as a natural mistake or an oversight. This is the most egregious lie that is ever given. However, it works in Chicago, so why not Washington? There is no reasonable American, either Democrat or Republican, who does not recognize that these three nominees are liars, thieves, and charlatans. We now have a true criminal tax cheat as head of the Treasury Department, which includes the very agency, IRS, whom he defrauded. The irony of this would make Chicago politicians congratulate Washington insiders. I am not even sure we have been able to accomplish this degree of fraud on the citizens here. The irony of the Obama Administration is that they did this in the open, under so-called media scrutiny.
The final Chicago political mafia move by Obama was his “taking responsibility” during press interviews. This has been an old Chicago political tradition. You state the obvious without suffering any consequences. What does it mean that you take responsibility? It means absolutely nothing in fact. Was anyone fired? Did you take a pay cut? Are you going to pay my taxes? The answer is no to all of those. When everyday Americans take responsibility, there are specific consequences. Obama knows that his “responsibility” is a put on for public relations media effect. That is the joke. By saying that he takes full responsibility, Obama is really avoiding all responsibility for trying to cheat the American public.
From the trenches of Chicago, it is fun to watch how easy it is for these Chicago professional political mafia to manipulate the virgin babes in the Washington political woods. The Washington political groupies does not have a chance against the Chicago political mafia.

No matter who wins the election for President, the result will be to further or completely de-legitimize the American election system. This is primarily, if not singularly, due to the Democrat Party. They will have accomplished what Saul Allinskey and Bill Ayres (FOO, Friends of Obama) have been wishing to accomplish since the 1960s.

The Democrat Party, through Barack Obama, have indulged in racism, sexism, election theft and fraud, and buying elections,

The Democrat Party began with racism as their dominant factor in the selection of Senator Barack Obama as their candidate. The sole reason for selecting him was his race. No white or Hispanic politician would have been the free ride that Obama has received because of his race by the voters and the media. The media did not dare criticism him solely because of his race. It became so bad that Senator Clinton could not get a fair debate until SNL so completely embarrassed the US media about their lack of criticism of Obama because of his race. When ABC actually asked him some tough questions in the last primary debate they were accused of unfair racism.

Obama clearly was ready to and did use the race card when he was criticized, such as his attack on former President Bill Clinton and on Senator John McCain. None of it was true but it worked to scare the media. If Obama wins on Tuesday, we will have the first true affirmative action family in thw White House.

Sexism by the media, the candidates, and the voters has been rampant throughout this election. It was not only against Hillary Clinton during the primaries, but just as spiteful and empty during the general election against Governor Sarah Pailin. When Pailin gave a serious policy speech, the media did not cover it just like Clinton. It was by far more important to cover their wardrobe every day. Nothing was said about the men candidate's wardrobes, ever. Pailin was criticized for frequently using Teleprompters; but Obama cannot even connect two words together without a teleprompter. The Democrat Party has shown itself to be so sexist that it would reject one of its own well experienced and deserving candidates predominantly because of her gender. The Democratic Party men (and some misogynist Republicans like Colin Powell), could not wait to attack Pailin on her gender and "intellectual" weakness compared to the "messiah.” These are old attack to put down women for being out of their “proper” place. If Pailin does not become Vice-President, it will show that sexism is a much stronger and healthier prejudice in the Democratic Party and with some Republicans than race is. It will mean racism is dead but sexism remains alive and growing.

There is no question that this will be the most fraudulent presidential election in the history of the United States. The Democrat Party initiated most of the fraud and theft. No one, including most of the media, will disagree with this perspective. Fraudulent voting is the hallmark of Chicago politics and it is how Obama won the primary. A simple mental exercise during the primary: Hillary Clinton (New Hampshire, New York, California, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, etc) won all objective elections, where people actually registered and then voted (one person, one vote).. The only open voting that Obama won was in his home state of Illinois. Where he did succeed was in the "caucuses" where Chicago style politics works well. This began with Iowa with the destruction of Clinton caucus ballots and outsiders bused in to participate in the "caucuses." Unquestionably, the Democrat Party Primary was stolen from Senator Clinton in a blatant and open way previously unheard of in American politics.

Now in the general election the same thing is happening, focusing on fraudulent voting. Here in Northwest Indiana, Obama was just here on Friday. Why? There are no more new votes to get from Lake County, Indiana for Obama. The reason he came here and will be back today is to create a cover for the large fake voting that will occur here. This happened in the primary. Everyone should recall the exchange on CNN's Larry King Live between Mayors McDermott of Hammond and Rudy Clay of Gary, both Democrats, about how Clay was "cooking" the vote for Obama by delaying the release of voting data until 3 in the morning. Now there is no one to even protest. Tens of thousands of voters have been found to be registered in Illinois and Indiana, none existent people are voting, and as is usual in NWI even the dead are voting. Funny, they are all voting for Obama.

This election is not only been bought, it is literally been stolen. That is the same as stealing the Country. Obama will have raised around $1 billion for the campaign. That is more than $3 for every man, women, and child who exist in the U.S. If Obama were not black, the media and objective Democrats would take this as unquestionable illegal theft. Obama has refused to release the names of people who make up $300 million of this amount. In addition, no one, I mean no one, knows where this money comes from. However, because Obama is black, no one dares question his theft of the election. The answer is for the Obama campaign to play the race card. Which is essentially to say: "white politicians somewhere have taken illegal money, if you are questioning me it must be because of my race. So I refuse to answer on the grounds that I am not a racist." The argument is nonsense but it has worked through the primary and the general election.

Whatever the result of this election, no one will view a run for the President as a legitimate exercise in democratic politics. Obama and the left Democrat Party has succeeded in what Bill Ayres has always argued to Obama need to be done: de-legitimize the institutions of American Political System.

Barack Obama and his campaign have shown their total disregard for American values and the nature of the American political system.  Three newspapers who endorsed his opponent have had their reporter thrown off his campaign plane and their credentials revoked.  The following is an outline of the breaking story:

Now that Obama thinks he is going to loose there is not bad treatment that is beneath him for his "enemies".  Everyone in America should know that if Obama is elected, even Richard Nixon will look like a lover of equity and freedom of the press.
Obama's intentis very clear.  Re-educate the reporters and their newspapers and the American people be damned.  He would not be a President of the American people; only of a select few.

Today General Colin Powell endorsed Senator Obama for President over his long time friend and comrade in arms Senator John McCain. Powell went out of his way to emphasis that this was NOT about race, i.e. the fact that Obama is African-American. Sorry General Powell, I do not take you for such a fool as to not realize that not only your endorsement but also this whole campaign is about race. The ironic thing is that we found out that when it comes to race, even in presidential elections, the white man is shortchanged in today politically correct world.
What is truly regrettable is to see this come from you of all people. It actually should not be a surprise. In August of this year, you said to a group of university students that it would be transformational to have the United States elect an African-American as president. That is the exact term you used for your endorsement of Obama, a transformational figure.
You forgot the jokes Obama and his Reverent Wright made about the current Secretary of State Rice and you, African-Americans in a Republican administration. Now you are offered a “position” in the Obama administration. One assumes your son too.
The facts of Powell’s career have now become clear. He has used his white color-blind supporters, Republicans all, until he could join the me too African-American bandwagon. Although I had considered Powell with great admiration, it now becomes clear that he had little depth beyond being Jamaican in the right place at the right time. When he was called upon to make a decision, as he was this week, he did nothing more than mouth the usual “I am black too” honorarium.
He has endorsed Barack Obama, a man who stands for everything Powell has claimed he opposes, solely because they are both “black,” or more brown than the white folks have. Powell turned his back on all the people who stood by him, and his comrades, and made him into the political figure he is today. Now, Powell deserves no more respect as a military man than John Kerry did when he made public claims about his comrades in arms.  Powell's endorsement of McCain's rival was analogous to Kerry lies on Capital Hill on his return from Vietnam.
Powell turned his back on the Presidents who put faith in him: Reagan, Bush One and Bush Two. He left his comrades on the field of battle that he sent as a member of the President’s Cabinet to Afghanistan and Iraq. Finally, he lost track of the honor he owed those who served with him in Vietnam by supporting the one person running for President who needed the support of the Weather Underground members.
Has Powell forgotten who got him out of the mess he achieved as Secretary of State? John McCain did by supporting the surge and making it happen. Has Powell forgotten who undermined the military and what America stands for and has been the supporter of Barack Obama? It was Bill Ayres and his wife Bernadine Dorn. Has General Powell forgotten who undermined his work at the United Nations as Secretary of State? It was Barack Obama.
Every criticism about Iraq that Barack Obama and his cohorts have leveled against President Bush and Senator John McCain also apply to General Colin Powell. Oh! I am sorry one cannot do that. General Powell is black. Therefore, he like his friend Barack gets a pass.
I think it is called the “I am black so don’t blame me for anything” pass.
Republicans made your career and accepted African-Americans for the first time in real positions of power on the national scene. You could not even respect that sufficiently to just keep your mouth shut. It was Republicans, from President Bush’s father to Senator John McCain, who were transformational figures by accepting and placing African-Americans and Hispanics in positions of real power, not make believe power. Democrats placed minorities as heads of HUD or Department of Transportation, not giving serious positions such as national security adviser, Secretary of State, and Attorney General. General Powell, did you forget all these “transformational figures”?
Colin Powell by his endorsement has only shown that he was a disgrace to the uniform he wore and to the men who serve the United States. He it should teach us a lesson: not all military men make good civilian politicians. Powell was a disaster as national security adviser and as Secretary of State. He has shown to be completely useless and as uninspiring as a chipmunk as a civilian.
The fact remains that as a civilian all he wants is to be liked, make money, and find a job for his son. All these petty wants have led a formerly potentially great man to be nothing but an everyday messiah follower.

The very real possibility of a President Obama is wrecking havoc with the world-wide economic system. 
The one question that has not been asked is why is the "bailout" not working and what has changed since late September resulting in the business world essentially giving-up. 
Yes, we did have a problem with the mortgage market, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  Yes, the problem was being addressed by one presidential candidate, John McCain.  Obama was sitting on the side line checking his Blackberry.  McCain was still even in the national polls and had an electoral advantage.
With the idea of passing the bailout the Dow went up 700 plus points.
When that failed, because of Obama from all sources, the Dow crashed, but recouped 400 plus points the next day.  Ironically this was interpretted as a success for Obama and the Democrats and scored points for them.  The polls started showing favorable electoral maps for Obama.
But even when the final bailout package was passed the Dow kept on sinking.  Today it is down to under 10,000 and sinking.  But not only that, the world wide markets have all crashed.  Why?
The explanation given by the politicians that it takes time for the bailout package money to work it way through the system lacks credibility.  Everyone in the financial markets has already discounted that factor and they know the money is coming.
The big change is that McCain decided to have the Friday debate without a solution to the economic problem.
That singular act gave credibility to the idea that Obama could be president and the polls began to reflect that.  As Obama's positive numbers in the polls increased the world wide markets numbers started going down.
The idea of an Obama presidency is causing the markets to crash and go down.  That is the reason no one knows what the bottom is because it has nothing to do with economic issues and everything to do with political anti-business climate that is expected to come to Washington.  That anti-business climate and anti-economic growth mentality is difficult to discount and consequantly there is not "bottom" to this down fall.
From an economic prespective, if you want to understand what an Obama presidency would look like -- look around you -- the coming world wide recession.

The so-called Federal Wall Street bailout is going to cause Senator McCain to lose this election. Sadly McCain does not seem to understand that in pursuing a goal that is going to go against his ultimate interests and the Nation’s economic welfare. During the process, McCain has fought for the betterment of the American economy while at every turn Senator Barack Obama and the Democrats have thwarted him.
McCain may ultimately win on the bailout but the forgotten American taxpayer will lose.
In the race for the presidency, McCain is not behind because of his debate performance. Both candidates did poorly during the debate's first third, which is when most people watched, when the debate focus was about the economic bailout. Obama’s confusion and avoidance was real; he wants to dodge the tough questions as much as he could and Jim Leherer allowed him to do it. McCain reflects his own conflict between being blamed politically for not boosting the economy and his belief in fairness and justice. There is nothing fair or just about this bailout. Actually quite the opposite: it rewards the incompetent, thieves, and slaps the bill on the backs of the forgotten Americans. On Wednesday, Senator McCain’s vote to support the bailout in the Senate probably seals his fate in the presidential race. Without some dramatic event, he has just handed to Senator Obama the easy victory on economics he could not achieve on his own.
The politicians are talking about “greed” being the problem. That is a meaningless copout and everyone knows it. Greed is one of those words that apply to everyone. Who is not guilty of greed? In addition, most of the time greed is good. The problem here is not greed per se, but specific lies and thievery by some individuals. The lies and thievery worked well for the few financial types at the top and for the socialist comrades (Maxine Waters, Barnie Franks, Chris Dodd, Barak Obama, etc.) who have wanted to re-distribute America to the poor, the downtrodden, and the “un-resident” by using the Nation's mortgage system. This all worked well until the pyramid of cards called the housing bubble collapsed.
This is not a permanent problem; but a temporary aberration.
The only problem is that it exposed the liars and the comrades. The forgotten taxpayers wants fairness and justice metted out to those people first; then address the short fall in credit. Not the other way around which how it is now occurring.
What is so hard about that request?
The American taxpayer wants fairness and justice. They know that once they have turned over more than $700 billion that Wall Street wants they will not have any advantage to achieve justice and fairness. Someone caused this. We know it was partly greed; but it was more a consequence of direct government policy that no one has acknowledged and whose consequence the hard working Americans will be held holding the bag. The American public knows that Senator Chris Dodd the chairman of the committee directly negotiating the bailout is one of the people who got a sweetheart deal on his mortgage and so did Senator Barak Obama among many others (all from Countrywide Financial.) That is just the beginning of the largess to the Senate. Why are these people not being made to pay this money back? Democratic Representative Barnie Frank was in the middle of a long serious relationship with one of the top executive of Freddie Mac, the organization over whom his Committee had oversight authority. Franks’ “partner” developed the mortgage derivative that gave easy mortgages to the “unworthy” and “unkempt” for whom hardworking Americans are now left holding the bag. For whom is Barnie Franks negotiating? During the 2004 Congressional hearings, he specifically pointed out that there was nothing wrong with the accounting and derivative practices of the Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE’s) his lover was running. Neither one of them is paying anything for their bad behavior nor are they sufficiently ashamed to stop acting holier than everyone else.
Where is John McCain when the American people need him?
The American taxpayer wants accountability and assurance that the handing out of our money will result in real changes in the system of the Wall Street Democrats gorging while Main Street Republicans and taxpayers are serving the meal.
The one overriding factor that McCain had going for him is the belief by most Americans (even ones who may not ultimately support him for president), that he would never be part of the fleecing the regular American citizen. That was the agreement of honor that we had with him since his days in the military. He has now lost that trump card. The one remaining outside possibility is that Governor Sarah Palin, in the VP debates, can get it back. It may require her clarification or even repudiation of McCain’s erratic support of the regular American who depended on him.  That is a big burden for her to pull off.
McCain, this is where you let us down: “(Regular Main Street Americans) have not forgotten that just two years ago, in 2006, Fannie Mae was found to have intentionally overstated its earnings by $10.6 billion (that is with a ‘b’) to meet their projected targets. Yet, top executives simply received civil fines, and no criminal charges were ever pursued.” Now these same Democrats and their comrades in Freddie Mac and Wall Street want our support and trust. John it is not there. You were supposed to fight for us against these Democratic thieves. If not you, then who?
Ironically, together with Obama, you ask us to believe that justice and fairness is to be addressed after the money is distributed. When has that ever happened? You will not have control over that, even with your best intentions, and you know it. That will be the case even if by some miracle you win the presidency following your disastrous vote in support of the “bailout” stripped of fairness and justice.
The forgotten American taxpayer, who has worked by the rules, asked for something very simple: solve the economic crisis; but ensure that justice and fairness prevail in the treatment of those who got us here (either the public or private individuals or entities.)
This is the least that the American public deserves.

With tonight's vote in the United States Senate, Senator John McCain has effectively ensured his loss to Senator Obama.  Not only did he give the economic play to Obama, he also denied the American taxpayer the support for fairness and honor they had expected from McCain.

The American taxpayer can understand and believe that a bailout is necessary; but, not when all the sweet-heart deals continue for easy mortgages to Senators Dodd, Obama, and Mr. Reins (among many others).  Justice calls for these people to pay the money back.  Bad mortgages were given out to undeserving people just to either boost the Democrats' voting block or to support a changed socialist society.  It is us taxpayers that are left to hold the bag.  Where is the fairness that specifically ends this policy?

Instead we had the Democrats wanting to fund ACORN and La Raza to steal more of the American taxpayer's money.  We would agree to the bailout of $700 billion if there was a Senator McCain to protect our interest in fairness and justice.  The new bailout now has money for "mental health."  Sadly, today McCain has proven to be either incapable or unwilling to side with honor and justice.  Is "mental health" not an earmark?

On Monday he mouthed the same words that Obama did.  "After we give Wall Street $700 billion there will plenty of time to point fingers and find out who and what is culpible."  No taxpayer really believes this.  Once they get their hands on the money there is no leverage for the forgotten American to get justice and fairness again.

McCain and Palin have now given Obama and the Democrats every advantage to hide and protect themselves from the taxpayer's fury.  Even when the House showed guts in voting the plan down, McCain did not have the will to stand with the forgotten American.

It was honor, justice, and fairness that drew most Americans to McCain.  He has now lost that trust of the American taxpayer with this vote in the Senate supporting Wall Street and the socialist practices of the Democrats.

The Speech Palin Never Gave: Ahmadinejad Dreams of Final Solution

In the speech which Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was to have delivered at a Monday rally protesting the UN appearance of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, she was to have said that the Iranian president "dreams of being an agent in a 'Final Solution' - the elimination of the Jewish people." Her appearance in the rally in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza was cancelled in a flap between protest organizers and Hillary Clinton, who had also been scheduled to speak. Clinton aides were quoted as saying that they had been "blindsided" by the decision to invite Palin, which they called a partisan move. In the ensuing controversy, Clinton withdrew her participation, and Palin's invitation was rescinded. The text of the speech follows: I am honored to be with you and with leaders from across this great country - leaders from different faiths and political parties united in a single voice of outrage. Tomorrow, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to New York - to the heart of what he calls the Great Satan - and speak freely in this, a country whose demise he has called for. Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator's intentions and to call for action to thwart him. He must be stopped. The world must awake to the threat this man poses to all of us. Ahmadinejad denies that the Holocaust ever took place. He dreams of being an agent in a "Final Solution" - the elimination of the Jewish people. He has called Israel a "stinking corpse" that is "on its way to annihilation." Such talk cannot be dismissed as the ravings of a madman -not when Iran just this summer tested long-range Shahab-3 missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv, not when the Iranian nuclear program is nearing completion, and not when Iran sponsors terrorists that threaten and kill innocent people around the world. The Iranian government wants nuclear weapons. The International Atomic Energy Agency reports that Iran is running at least 3,800 centrifuges and that its uranium enrichment capacity is rapidly improving. According to news reports, U.S. intelligence agencies believe the Iranians may have enough nuclear material to produce a bomb within a year. The world has condemned these activities. The United Nations Security Council has demanded that Iran suspend its illegal nuclear enrichment activities. It has levied three rounds of sanctions. How has Ahmadinejad responded? With the declaration that the "Iranian nation would not retreat one iota" from its nuclear program. So, what should we do about this growing threat? First, we must succeed in Iraq. If we fail there, it will jeopardize the democracy the Iraqis have worked so hard to build, and empower the extremists in neighboring Iran. Iran has armed and trained terrorists who have killed our soldiers in Iraq, and it is Iran that would benefit from an American defeat in Iraq. If we retreat without leaving a stable Iraq, Iran's nuclear ambitions will be bolstered. If Iran acquires nuclear weapons ? they could share them tomorrow with the terrorists they finance, arm, and train today. Iranian nuclear weapons would set off a dangerous regional nuclear arms race that would make all of us less safe. But Iran is not only a regional threat; it threatens the entire world. It is the no. 1 state sponsor of terrorism. It sponsors the world's most vicious terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah. Together, Iran and its terrorists are responsible for the deaths of Americans in Lebanon in the 1980s, in Saudi Arabia in the 1990s, and in Iraq today. They have murdered Iraqis, Lebanese, Palestinians, and other Muslims who have resisted Iran's desire to dominate the region. They have persecuted countless people simply because they are Jewish. Iran is responsible for attacks not only on Israelis, but on Jews living as far away as Argentina. Anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial are part of Iran's official ideology and murder is part of its official policy. Not even Iranian citizens are safe from their government's threat to those who want to live, work, and worship in peace. Politically-motivated abductions, torture, death by stoning, flogging, and amputations are just some of its state-sanctioned punishments. It is said that the measure of a country is the treatment of its most vulnerable citizens. By that standard, the Iranian government is both oppressive and barbaric. Under Ahmadinejad's rule, Iranian women are some of the most vulnerable citizens. If an Iranian woman shows too much hair in public, she risks being beaten or killed. If she walks down a public street in clothing that violates the state dress code, she could be arrested. But in the face of this harsh regime, the Iranian women have shown courage. Despite threats to their lives and their families, Iranian women have sought better treatment through the "One Million Signatures Campaign Demanding Changes to Discriminatory Laws." The authorities have reacted with predictable barbarism. Last year, women's rights activist Delaram Ali was sentenced to 20 lashes and 10 months in prison for committing the crime of "propaganda against the system." After international protests, the judiciary reduced her sentence to "only" 10 lashes and 36 months in prison and then temporarily suspended her sentence. She still faces the threat of imprisonment. Earlier this year, Senator Clinton said that "Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is in the forefront of that" effort. Senator Clinton argued that part of our response must include stronger sanctions, including the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. John McCain and I could not agree more. Senator Clinton understands the nature of this threat and what we must do to confront it. This is an issue that should unite all Americans. Iran should not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Period. And in a single voice, we must be loud enough for the whole world to hear: Stop Iran! Only by working together, across national, religious, and political differences, can we alter this regime's dangerous behavior. Iran has many vulnerabilities, including a regime weakened by sanctions and a population eager to embrace opportunities with the West. We must increase economic pressure to change Iran's behavior. Tomorrow, Ahmadinejad will come to New York. On our soil, he will exercise the right of freedom of speech - a right he denies his own people. He will share his hateful agenda with the world. Our task is to focus the world on what can be done to stop him. We must rally the world to press for truly tough sanctions at the U.N. or with our allies if Iran's allies continue to block action in the U.N. We must start with restrictions on Iran's refined petroleum imports. We must reduce our dependency on foreign oil to weaken Iran's economic influence. We must target the regime's assets abroad; bank accounts, investments, and trading partners. President Ahmadinejad should be held accountable for inciting genocide, a crime under international law. We must sanction Iran's Central Bank and the Revolutionary Guard Corps -which no one should doubt is a terrorist organization. Together, we can stop Iran's nuclear program. Senator McCain has made a solemn commitment that I strongly endorse: Never again will we risk another Holocaust. And this is not a wish, a request, or a plea to Israel's enemies. This is a promise that the United States and Israel will honor, against any enemy who cares to test us. It is John McCain's promise and it is my promise. Thank you.
